On the Road again....

Alright finally an update!!!

I got my surgery date its a ways away but I will take it... or rather I took it. April 16th 2010 West Los Angeles Kaiser with Dr. Kim.

YAY  That is great Katrina!  April 16th will be here as soon as you know it !!!!

Yes!!!!!!!!!    So glad to hear you got your date.  At the moment it will probably feel like 4/16 will never get here.  Trust me when I say that you will wake up and realize the day before that OMG, I am having my surgery tomorrow.  Between now and then your head will be swimming.  Go ahead and swim because after surgery you need to buckle up for the ride of your life.

Hooray for you.  It will be here before you know it and gives you plenty of time to get ready for it.  Not that there is much to do. Just remember you are going to go through tons of different emotions the next couple of months while you wait for that date.  All are normal.  Just enjoy the ride.

Congratulations Kat!  I know you have been working hard to just get to this point.  2 months sounds like a long time..but, trust what we all say...time will fly by!!  I had to wait 7 1/2 weeks..thought I would go crazy..and everybody around me said I drove THEM there first LOL 

Just remember to keep doing what you have been doing to get to this point..no back sliding...keep working on the life changes you will need after surgery.  Making new 'habits' now will be so beneficial down the road...I wish you continued success and I'll be movin' on down the bench for ya!

Whoo-hoo!!! I am so happy for you Katrina!! I can hardly wait to scoot over on this loooong losers bench for you! It will come soon enough, I promise. Maybe if they have a cancellation they can take you in earlier.
