My PCP made me do a stress test before she'd clear me, too, but they wouldn't even schedule my surgery until she cleared me, and the cardiologist was booked, so I was pissed at the delay. But as everyone else says, better safe than sorry. When are they doing the tests? This week, I hope!

Had stress test and repeat EKG yesterday pm--back to cardiologist today at noon to review results. so far seems positive. Please say lots of prayers!
