Msblue.......how was the dinner last night and the bonding time you spent with mom and her friend at the party. Some times you just have to break the rules and enjoy yourself. Where do you work?

Elizabeth........sounds like you had a great day yesterday. I love going to the piers and wondering around. What is Twin peaks, it sounds great and I hope you got some pictures. I didn't make to the gym yesterday, thought better of its since I see the doctor today about both my ankie and my thump. So I don't know what the water is like yet

Eileen.........I had a lazy day yesterday also. In fact I went to take a nap at 3 and didn't get up until 6 when DD woke me up to eat. LOL I tell ya, monday kicked my butt at work. UGH!! DId you get your yard work done?

Ms Blue...........I wrote down your receipe and will try it this weekend. DD cooked dinner already yesterday and made enough to feed us for the rest of the week. LOL. I will remember to season the meat. Thank you for the tip.

Good Morning Lu and all of California.......

YES the countdown is on.  April 15th....ooooo I can feel it, I can taste it.  Boss says we will be out of here by noon tomorrow.  I'll believe it when I see it, but it is a great goal to shoot for.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed. 

As for relaxing until next year, well that is sort of accurate and yet not.  I have personal property tax returns that must be completed by May 7th. Everything that has been put on extension still needs to be done.  Corporate final deadline is September 15 and personal and partnership is October 15.  But we have all these months to get it all done.  Of course there is the normal everyday work that must be done throughout the year as well as that, but it just gives us some breathing room to get it all completed.  So, HIP HIP HOORAY.  I have made it through another tax season.  Whew....I'm tired.

Busy weekend coming up though.  MUST finish cleaning the house to get ready for our company next week.  Plus I have my son's birthday dinner on Friday and a hair appointment on Saturday morning.  So much to do....so little time.  One of these days, I'm going to just be able to sit in a chair and do nothing for days on end.  I know I'd get bored within a day, but just knowing that I could do that if I wanted makes it somehow nice to dream about.

Oh Lu, I told Mike that you were joining me and Linda for our "girls day".  He was his usually "witty" (insert sarcastic here) self and said I should make sure to tell him where us three were going so he and Bob could be sure to stay away from the chaos that the three of us are bound to create.  Geesh...he can be so annoying sometimes.  I mean, let's be honest, he's probably right, but I'll never tell him that.  hehehe  I really can't wait for the 27th.  Us three are going to have so much fun that day whatever it is we decide to do.

OK, back to work for me.  Hope everyone has a great day.  It looks like weather-wise here in the IE it is going to be a beautiful day. Enjoy it.

Twin Peaks is a hill or mountain top well actually two that looks like a womans boobs. The guide said it was named after an Indian Maiden. I will post the pictures when I get them down loaded on my computer. I only took pictures from Twin Peaks. I would like to go back and do a walking tour where I can get some good pictures. I could not see taking pictures through the bus window.

I think we posted a WWW post at the same time! I lost 1 lb last week.

I am a District Director for a California Assemblymember in the Bay Area.  I manage the staff in the district office. It includes giving speeches on his behalf when he's in Sacramento, meeting with community leaders about the budget and new laws, being the in district expert on education, technology and budget issues, researching issues, managing his media person, organizing town hall meetings, helping constituents with state agencies and so on. It's a good job for me, except for the commute and the sometimes 14 hour days!!!!
