Im sorry I took a week to post but Im here now. Surgery went well but boy, did I have buyers remorse when I woke in so my pain . I had to stay in for one day more because I was throwing up and they didnt want me to be dehydrated. I came home last Friday but I am having so much trouble trying to drink enough water. I never have drunk it much. I make up for it in coffee though . I am on soups and jello plus my protien drink when I can. I see Dr.Zane tomorrow  for my follow up and Im hoping the staples will come out then. I have been so good not to get on the scales since I came home as I know I will be dissapointed because of all the air they blow you up with. I dont know about anyone else that has the sleeve, but I have a big indent on my left side of the belly, is this right? When I put a top on you can really see it.
Anyhow, I will post tomorrow to let you all know if and what I have lost.

Hugs

Congratulations on your surgery. It will get better you just have to be patient. I don't know about the indent on the left side as I had RNY. Hopefully it will even out! LOL Take it easy and take care of yourself. Be sure to keep us posted on your progress,

Hy Myra,

I am sorry you've had a difficult post-surgery. I am keeping my fingers crossed that everything else will go smoothly from here on out. I had a difficult time at first and threw-up a lot when I started introducing more than just liquids to my diet.  Since then though, I've done well with a couple of annoying complications. I had low iron levels that were zapping my energy level, but that seems resolved now and constipation is an issue, but I've found eating oatmeal daily helps that a lot.

I bet things will get better. When you see the weight come off and your body feels better, it will be worth it.

Take Care,
