Good Morning Calif

Good Morning Manic Monday....

I know some of you lucky dogs get today as your holiday, and are sleeping in, but WAKE UP!!!! I am up and moving so the rest of you have to.

So I have to work today, and I know its going to be a mess. Our out patient clinic is closed today and everyone that comes in on Monday are going to show up and demand to be seen. UGH!!! They are going to use the ER for there medication refill clinic and we are going to be rocking all 12 hours. If I didn't want the hoilday pay for my trip to me Stephine, I would call in, but I want the double pay to spend.  

So what did you all do for your 4th? I worked but we had a nice pot luck. This one girl made some BBQ ribs. OMG they where so good. I wanted more. She told me how she cooks them, so I might try that next weekend. or not.

Well guess its time to get moving and start my day. I can smell the coffee and dangs! it smells so good, cant wait for a cup, or gallon.

Good Morning Lu and Cali Friends,

Hope your day at work goes smoothly, keep your eye on the prize your vacation money!

We enjoyed a day with our neighbors and family yesterday and sat on the front porch for night 3 of fireworks, it was much fun.  I missed playing in the Pops band this year but didn't mind the rest and time away.

Today brings a trip to SF to take my step mom home after spending a nice respite with us.  Always fun to have her here.

Hey Lu and all of Cali,

Keep those doubles commin Lu.  You need lots of spending money for Laughlin. LOL  Now you know you don't.  We can just sit in a lobby and people watch. Or by the pool and people watch.  That is more fun then almost anything.  I love watching the nut jobs. 

We had a wonderful day yesterday.  Just Mike and I and a couple of friends over at their house.  Went in the "heated" pool.  It was delightful as I hate cold water.  We BBQ'd and had yummy yummy chicken and steak.  And then at 9PM we took our folding chairs out on the driveway and watched lots of fireworks.  It was just awesome.

Today nothing much is planned.  We just came back from having some breakfast out and I do need to start some laundry.  I haven't done laundry since before we went on vacation.  I have all those vacation clothes to get washed, dried and put away.

So on that note, it's time to become the washing machine queen.  Hope you had an uneventful and not too stressful day at work Lu and I hope everyone else is enjoying their day.
