Good Morning Calif.........
TGIF TGIF!!! Its Friday and I am off this weekend. Unless they call me in to work. You know I need to time and the money, but I don't like giving up my weekend. UGH!!.
So yesterday, we where told that we might have to start furloughs. We would need 208 hours on a 2 year peroid. Don' they know I have a trip planned and that I support my sisiter. Dang them!! I have plans for my money. My sister say that with all the over time I work, how are they going to furlough you. I truly don't have an answer for that one. I just hope it don't happen.
This weekend I am going to hicking with a friend. I was going to call her last night, but like a dork, forgot to call her. So I will have to do that when I get to work today. I think we are going sunday, but will have a better date and time today after I talk to her.
D............at least the weekend is coming soon and you can rest. Some times it ok to be tried when you had a great day/night. Even tore up, you still have a smile on your face.
Barb........what class for workermen comp are you taking? You know its hard to find a good boss. One that you can spend time with and talk about enjoying it. Enjoy your time with your step mom. Be safe driving.
Elizabeth..............I bet there are somethings your grand babies are going to remember. I still remember my grandfather sitting around smoking this HUGH pipe, and the smell of cherry's from it. Grandma use to talk with her hands, and I can still see her talking like that, even when she was on the phone. LOL
Steph..........you know, I thought about calling you that night before, and see about having lunch, but not know how long things where going to be, didn't want to set a time. Guess its a good thing I didn't, since things got all jacked up. YOU are going to teach? Girl, you would be great with that. You are very good at what you do, and know it inside and out. This will be a breeze for you. I need to get my hair done, but can't seem to part with the money. It hurts. LOL
Eileen................I spent tuesday at the pool. It was a great way to relax and work on my tan. I wish we could BBQ at the pool, but they took the BBQ'er away and never returned it. Snotty dogs!
Kim................yap, get back to running and come and run Long Beach Marathon. You know you want to. LOL You know Kim, sometime a good cry is wonderful for the soul. I joke around about things, but the stress with having to work over time to pay mine and DD bills. I could us a good cry. I promise that.
MsBlues................OMG! I so understand what you are talk about with your moms house and things. It tooks us a few days of just going to her house and sitting around. The smell of her being there helped us. (me and my sisters) It took us almost a week before we even started and then we could only bring ourselfs to do the very basic stuff for the next month. I am so sorry things are messed up for you and hope that you are able to set that aside and moving on, when YOU are ready.
OK kids, time for a shower and some more coffee. I wish you all a great day/weekend.

Good Morning Lu and Cali Friends,
Happy Friday! Hope you get your weekend off Lu, and enjoy your hike.
Went to get my Step Mom last night and we stopped and had dinner at our favorite place we usually stop at. It was packed but it was yummy.
This weekend will bring shopping with the Mom's and some cleaning and an extra day off as I will celebrate my hubby's birthday with the family on Monday, although his BD is Tuesday.

YAWN....I love sleeping in. But that won't last long. Starting a new job on the 9th but taking 2 weeks off before. So I get to be a bum. Then as Lu pointed out I'm also going to be teaching some tax classes this year as well. It should be interesting to say the least and a very busy few months. But it's all good. I don't mind. I'm so looking forward to this new daytime job. I'm just totally excited. I was grateful to have a job, but I really hated the place I was working. They really didn't care about the people who worked for them at all. Again, I was grateful for a job, but it was definitely time for me to leave there. Case on that now closed. And teaching at night a couple days a week for a couple of months will be fun. But the teaching days will be very long days. Working all day and then teaching from 6 to 9 two nights a week. But again, that is only for a couple of months.
Today I think I am going over to my sister's house. Just going to sit out by the pool and relax. Mike and I have tickets for a show tonight. We are seeing Menopause the Musical. We've actually seen it before, but Mike enjoyed it so much the first time, he wanted to see it again. So tonight is the night. We really do enjoy live theater so much.
OK, time for me to go get dressed, have some breakfast and make my way to Pasadena so I can be a slug there as opposed to being a slug at home. LOL Life is good.

Yeah today is Friday. This week has gone by so fast. I'm supposed to work tomorrow, but not sure if that will happen. We have no patients, and they closed one of our units yesterday. Scary thought. I was cancelled on Monday, and when I left work on Tuesday night we only had 11 total patients out of 24 beds. Kinda scary. I kinda need to work. It sorta helps pay the bills. Oh well, not to much I can do about it. It will pick up at some point. Not sure what I'm going to do today. I should go to the gym, but I'm not feeling it today. I hope you all have a great day!!!!

Good morning Cali! (yes it still officially morning!)
I am on the job early this morning. Get to go home early~yeah!! Having lunch with DH before I head home since he is close to where I am working. I have lots to do this weekend. The next couple of months will fly by for sure!!
