PLEASE HELP! I am looking for any surgeon in California that will take MEDI-CAL!

I am looking for a surgeon anywhere in California that takes Medi-Cal. I have been looking for weeks and I'm so frustrated, I'm ready to give up.
Has anyone here ever gotten Medi-Cal to cover your surgery? Any advice about this would be really helpful.

I dont know about southern ca but My friend has medi-cal with a surgeon up here Dr. Coates in modesto. Also there is a post on the board with medicaid/medicare surgeons medicaid is medi-cal here. Good Luck!!

 Good luck to you!  Try referring to the topic at the top of this forum--Medicare and Medicaid Surgeons.  Medicaid is the same thing as Medi-Cal it is just in California.

I know it's far from you but there is a group in Santa Rosa called Healthy Steps that takes Medi-cal.
