First Post-Op follow up went well

Greetings all,

Had my first Post-Op follow up this afternoon and all went well. Doctor said there were no complications from the surgery and explained why I had to stay in the hospital so long. He removed the springs and wires that had the G-Tube attached to my stomach and was causing all the pain (soooo thankful for that). Unfortunately, the G-Tube has to remain in place until January 4th and will be removed.

The doctor said to go ahead and start introducing soft foods one at a time to see what I can handle. And the most amazing thing is that I have lost 16 pounds since surgery !!! I knew I lost some but WOW.....Considering the first time I had WLS I only lost 1 pound the first week LOL.

Have a great day all...........Rick

Hi Jean

As of right now, I have not had a Hypo-Glycemic reaction since the day before surgery. Glucose levels are holding steady and have not waivered at all. Still way to early for us to tell and the even the doctor was kind of shocked when I told him.

Hopefully, this will continue

Have a great day.........Rick
