It's finally my turn for surgery!  I'll be at Stanford Hospital on Monday morning bright and early for an 8:30am surgery time.

I appreciate any positive prayers, thoughts, etc. and I'm always looking for helpful hints.

I'm going to keep my New Year's resolution for once in my life!  Yeah!

Happy New Year!

Congratulations! I will be shaking a chicken for you (if I had one I would) My best advice is to have your kitchen ready before your surgery. Have everything you need ready. Also walk as much as soon as you can to release all the gas they put in you. Walk and sip your liquids. Remember you can only take in small amounts. If you have any questions please post them. Do what your doctor tells you to do. Keep us posted on your progress. Enjoy your New Year!

Karyn,

So excited for you and what a fantastic way to start the new year.  I had my surgery on Jan 8th, so I know exactly what you're going through right now.  I will be celebrating my 2 year surgiversary on Jan 8th.

Please let us know how you're doing and I'll keep you in my prayers and thoughts.

Hugs,
Barb
