Just when you thought things were going your way

  I went to the Dr's office on Friday as scheduled, only when I got there, I was told that SOMEONE didn't put my name on the Dr's calendar for June 25th.  Now I  wait until Jully 16th.  I AM SOOOOO DISAPPOINTED.  I had everything worked out on my end including someone to care for my son.  Now ,plane tickets have been bought for him and instead of him coming back when I am back on my feet, he will be coming home just after I have the procedure done. I NEED A HUG DESPERATELY!!!!!!       

Oh Michelle, I am so sorry...do you have the appointment card that they give you when you scheduled it??  (not that it would really help you out now, but when it happened to me at a different dr's office, they squeezed me in.....because it was, in fact...their fault).....gosh, are you having your surgery done lap or open....with lap your healing time is cut way, way down......big bear hugs to you....take a breath....it will in fact all work out in the end............... Don't forget sweetie....today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday!!

I have her on my voice mail leaving me the message, however, that doesn't matter.  She was very apologetic and I accepted her apology.  I am trying to have laproscopic.  Maybe with the extra time I can work on being in better shape so it will be easier to have it done lap instead of open.   I was just so disappointed.  I worry so much about work, and my son, an other things that I find it so overwhelming at times.   Thank you for your support and encouragement.  I will keep my chin up.  

so sorry michelle. I org was suposed to have it 6/25 and then they called and moved it to the 27th and then to the 18th. Great out look on it. :)

Michelle: This must feel like an emotional setback for sure for you. A planning  nightmare for a mother.. .yes. Yet, I believe that all things happen with a master plan in place... Although... sometimes we are not privy to that plan for a while. So while you are disappointed, your attitude is healthy and positive. I had a few "waits" before my surgery. I understand. So I send you a big gentle hug. Towanda

I know it may feel like a hugh setback, but things always happen for a reason, so just be happy. and like you said this gives you time to get in better shape for the surgry.
