Chewing Gum?

I am just 4 days post-op. As you may have read on another one of my posts, I have a urinary tract infection. The Liquid Cipro they give you is absolutely nasty and I can't seem to get the taste out of my mouth. Any of you post-ops know if its ok to chew some sugar-free gum? I never swallow it -- just need to get the good taste throughout my mouth. Brushing and rinsing with mouthwash doesn't quite cut it the same way. Thanks in advance, Kathy Bilodeau

Hi Kathy, please don't use gum as if you do swallow it by mistake, it can course some serius problems.....Have a drink of Crystal light ready, the Pink Lemonade made a extra stong can chase allmost any medicine taste away....Cheers Hugs from Tove

Betty, You're too funny . However, I've had the liquid Immodium - and trust me, the Cipro is way worse! YUK! But, the good news is... it works. I feel better today! God Bless, Kathy
