Well, I lost the bet.

Thank you to everyone for your help regarding Sharon Osbourne. I got a ton of emails, running about 75/25 saying banding over bypass. Even her own show's website says that she had bypass surgery, but the Osbournes' book that came out last month says that she talked herself out of the bypass and had the band instead. Damn. I SO hate losing!
