Connecticare approved me

I am so happy! Lois from Dr. Aranow's office just called me and I am approved!!! I didn't even know that she had submitted it yet and now I am approved. I am so thankful and happy that I didn't have to fight to have it covered. When my sister had her WLS seven years ago she had to fight for over a year to get approved and I can't remember what an awful time that was for her! It seemed when I started this process that it was going to be forever until I had my surgery and everything seemed to be a waiting game and now things are going so fast. I love it! Someone had mentioned needing an angel in an earlier post. What exactly is an angel's duties, do I need one and could someone please be mine???

Congrats, Eileen! I would love to be your angel! An Angel reports back to the group as to how your doing, is there to support you, checks in the hispital (if your up for it) and does whatever needs to be done. I'd be honored if you would have me as your angel! -Deb

Congratulations are your Insurance Approval. I am very happy for you and know what your feeling. Stay positive. I felt the same way when I started the process. It was so many tests and they were so spaced out, then I was hearing people taking a year or two to finally have surgery. It did get discouraging at time but now it's a dream that is finally coming true. Isn't it so exciting The next few weeks are going to fly by. Best of Luck to you. ~Julie~
