Yay for the Red Sox and a job well done!! I too am a Yankee fan, but I felt so happy when the Red Sox won last night. It was truly a great moment in history for them and for all of the fans who have waited and waited for this. They played their butts off and swept everyone away!! Great job!! Anne

I am a huge red sox fan, maybe not as big a fan as Deb M., but am wearing my hat with so much pride. I am bleary-eyed this morning after watching that great game, and headed out to New Haven for my pre-op app. with Dr. Bell. YEAH RED SOX! They will raise the Championship flag in Fenway Park on opening day April 11, 2005. And guess which team will be there? Yep, the Yankees!! As the paper said, "Sweet".

Red eyes - yes red socks - no, but my son is. I'm SO happy, and like Stephanie said, this win was for my Dad, who isn't here today but who I'm sure was was watching the game. Enjoy Daddy! This was for you!!! Man, I hope I don't nod off today. but then again, what will they do, fire me?? LOL

Yep, brought tears to my eyes too! It's funny, when you are a Red Sox fan, it seems to go from generation to generation. My grandfather was a die hard fan.......and my dad.......and now us........ We love the punishment, I guess. ;) I am TIRED today!

They DID IT! And I burst into tears. My sister called right away and told me, "now you've got me going." All I could say was "I can't believe it, I can't believe it." My grandpa made me a Sox fan fifty years ago. I've suffered and celebrated with this team all that time. I'm so happy for the team and all the fans. I think of all the obituaries I've read over the years that said that the deceased was a long-time Red Sox fan.... If the parade is Saturday-I'm THERE! And then my sister and I will be getting that Red Sox logo tatoo. To celebrate-send money to the Jimmy Fund....let's turn this great thing into something that is even greater! Ann 72 lbs GONE!
