Joanie's Food Log-Tuesday
I have been on cloud nine these past few days! Somedays I find it so difficult not to eat everything in sight--but lately I have felt I have maintained a satisfactory input of food/protein. A little over four months out--guess its still the Honeymoon phase huh? I dread the day when the weight loss really slows down and my appetite really returns. I just hope and pray that the behaviors I have set in place since Day 1 after surgery...exercise--journaling--support systems--continue to help me as I move on my way through this journey. Movies tonight-going to see Ray. (Never got a chance last week)
B-hard boiled egg
S-protein drink
L-chili with lite sour cream (yesterday-I had a chicken caesar salad instead--the boss was buying!)
S-momentum bar
D-Roast chicken-vegetable
S-bringing half ounce bag of pretzels to the movies...and water!
That's all folks!
Joanie

You really do have some great habits in place. They should really help yu in the future. I am still working towards making some better habits (like more exercise and keeping better track of what I eat). Right now it seems I eat so little I just care about getting enough protein and don'****ch the fat/calories/carbs too much. Try to keep all low, but don't track them well. I will do the fitday thing for a couple days, then skip it... Hopefully I will become more consistant soon!
B- CC Smoothie
L- Tuna Salad or maybe a Momentum bar (found 'em)
S- protein shake or Momentum bar
D- Probably Chicken of some sort
Hope everyone has a great day and stays warm!

I want to start responding to this thread even though I have not had my surgery yet, because I think it will help me cut down and also keep me accountable and maybe show me some areas I need to work on. So here goes.
B - small cheese danish, 20 oz coffee
S - full fat blueberry yogurt (forgot my diet one at home had to buy one and they only had the full fat kind)
L - 1 cup of eggplant parm, dinner roll, 20 oz water
s - nothing
d - 4 oz chicken breast, ceasar salad
s - nothing
Count me in....I'm still pre-op, so this will help me cut down too.
I tried a journal, but since I am the only one whoever looked at it I stopped writing.
B- mini bagel with peanut butter
L- small ham and american cheese grinder on whole wheat grinder roll...no condiments
D- some sort of chicken and veggie
S- rice cake
Water Water Water
Today is my first full day of no soda, junk food etc. My DH and daughter are going to LOVE how cranky I am when I get home
