MY FIRST EGG!!!!!!!!

Today was the best day since surgery ...... I HAD MY FIRST SCRAMBLED EGG!!!! i was very concern of how i was going to feel after or how i was going to know that i was full but a lot of chewing and patience paid off i knew when it was time to stop. anyway im on my way to the grocery store to get my COTTAGE CHEESEEEEEEEEE im all excited im tired of just liquid but im still hanging in there anyway i just wanted to share my happiness HAVE A GREAT DAY YALL!!!! .... HI Victor, Who would belive you would get so excited over an egg.....when my doc gave me the go ahead (after 4 weeks of fluids) I scrambled that puppy with a slice of cheese and it was heaven. Enjoy....sounds like you are doing fine.....keep up the good work. Hugs angel

Heyyyyyyy VIctor I am glad to hear you are doing so well.As i said b-4 your a cutie already ...but things definetly get better with time ....Good luck w/the cottage cheese oh and get some string cheese those are great as a snack cause they are pckg'd separetly...and there great when you nee something quick cause you not always going to want to break out a pot or pan to cook 2-4oz of something soft... Nice Victor... Just be patient. I remember when I had my first egg... it wasnt quite a pleasant experience, but I got over it. Looks like you are doing great chewing and taking your time. Happiness over an egg... ahhh! Wait until you can have ur first piece of meat! Uh, chicken... or something! Ana in Hartford 26lbs to goal...

Congrats on your milestone!! Scrambled egg was my first meal too, and I enjoyed it, though a bit anxiously as I recall. Fat free cottage cheese became my best friend for the first month or so after surgery -- it's amazing what tastes delicious to you!! Continued success!!! Cheers! Kathy F.

Ahhh, I remember my first egg, and unfortunately I didn't have the same result you did...it just didn't sit well. Oh well, wait until you try imitation crab meat. NOW That's a treat. Add some low-fat mayo and horseradish sause and it's like a gourmet meal! Keep up the good work!! -Deb
