Angel Duty for Erica!!!!

I got a call from Erica's (Elle Roberts on the message board) boyfriend and she is out of surgery and doing well. She had her surgery at St. Raphael's this morning by Dr. Valin. He did the lap RNY. I'm going to see her tomorrow. Everyone.... slide on over! Erica - welcome to the LOOOOOOSER's bench! Love, Tammy

Thanks for the update Tammy. Glad to hear she is doing well. She is in great hands with Dr. Valin. He's a great Dr and I'd choose him all over again. Please let us know how Erica is after you see her and give her our best. Maggie

I got a call from her boyfriend today. I guess she had a tough night of not sleeping. Not due to the surgery, but due to a roomate she had who was in a lot of pain. So, she wanted to hold off on visitors so she could sleep! I can't blame her. I'm doing very, very well. Fluids are going down super smooth - and I get a little indigestion (not sure that's what it is, but that is what it feels like). Lots of gurgling and action down below! It's hard for me to imagine I've even had the surgery, except for the lack of eating. I slept on my stomach last night. I fell asleep and must have rolled from my side to my tummy. It felt so GOOD to sleep like that. So, things are getting better every day. But now, it's the brain that I'm fighting with. So hard not to eat. People try to prepare you for these feelings, but I honestly think unless you are going thru it, you can't imagine the depths of the feelings. That's the hard part.
