Hey all...just wondering who will be going to Dr. Bell's meeting and to dinner afterwards. (okay..so im completely freakin bored...hubby is watching BORING stuff on TV and i have spent the day cleaning and getting stuff ready for Thursday.) For those of you who might get "snowed out" of tomorrow nights meeting, why don't you join us for Dr. Bell's meeting insteat. It isn't just for Dr. Bell's patients. There is usually a nutritionist there to answer your questions. Plus many people with questions and of course answers... and i believe we are all going to the Greek Olive??? near Ikea afterwards...ohhh anyone know what time Ikea closes?? LOLOLOL i need some more xmas stuff (like i need a hole in the head) Anyway...enuff rambling See ya Deanna

Hi Deanna, I am planning on being at the meeting and going to the Greek Olive afterwards. As far as I know, JA, Kathy B, Heather etc. are all coming. I know you are getting a little rattled but you will do just fine. Take some deep breathes and hold on to your skirt!!! Linda

Is that why i have been moving like crazy today?? I made nachos, beef stew, and oatmeal raisin cookies (and can eat NONE of it except the stew..soups and salads from now til Thursday), went food shopping, went to the laundromat, put up the xmas tree, and cleaned like a madwoman..anything i can find, i am cleaning..and right now, i am going thru every single box of Christmas decorations, (just taking a small break) it must be like when you are pregnant and start nesting???I don't know but i thought i was going crazy..thanks Linda for telling me im normal ttyl deanna

Hi Julie, It is located in New Haven, at Yale New Haven Hospital. I believe it starts at 6pm?? SOmeone correct me if i am wrong..It is really a great group of people, and we all go out for a bit afterwards and would LOVE for you to come. !!!!! Deanna

Julie, You are more than welcome to come to the Dr. Bell's meeting. It is Tuesday evening Dec. 7th, from 6:00-7:30pm. It is at Yale New Haven Hospital, York St. New Haven. We meet in the Max Taffel Room on the main floor. This month there will be a plastic surgeon joining us as well as the RD from the Yale Nutrition Clinic. If you need directions email me. Deanna: I remember the week of surgery like it was yesterday!!! The emotions, the last minute errunds, etc... You will do great!!! You are so ready for this and you have the best surgeon in the world. I will be forever indebt to Dr.Bell and he is among my favorite people in this world. I can not wait to see you Tuesday as well. Oh Deanna I can soooo relate! I thought I was gonna end up in the "looney" bin the week before my surgery. I was working two jobs and trying to get my life organized (which it never is!). Everything you are experiencing is totally normal (as Linda said). Just think, next week at this time, you will be a LOSER!!! Believe me this is the best thing I ever did for me...first of all cuz I feel like a million bucks, but secondly, I have met the greatest group of people in the whole damn world!!!! And if I didn't have the surgery, i would never have had the opportunity to meet everyone!!! So with the surgery, came a bonus, all of you!!! Hang in girlfriend, and we'll all chat on Tuesday! xoxoxoxox JA
