My Picture Is Up

Hi, all! As you can see if you're reading this, my picture is finally up. So for those of you I haven't met, I'm no longer a "mystery woman". My mental image of myself has always been of someone slightly smaller than I really am. Seeing pictures of myself has always startled me a little and reminded me (in not so nice a way) of how big I really am. But since my surgery is less than 3 wks. away, I won't look like this for much longer. And looking at this picture isn't all bad, since Joanie M. took it at our pre-holiday get-together last month and seeing it reminds me of how nice it was to spend the afternoon with all of you who were there. Hi Debby, So glad to see your picture up. It really is a great picture of you! I know what you mean about seeing yourself as smaller, I do the same thing. You are right as time goes by after the surgery you will become more beautiful than you are right now, inside and out. Love, Sandy

Hi Debby I was so happy to see your picture up. It is worth to take picture now and measure your body before you will go to have surgery so you can go back look how much you will change but inside you you are still Debby like all of us are. I will visit you at hospital to support you. Hugs Kathy K

Debby, Good to see your face up here. As everyone has said it will help you to put perspective on your loses in the future. I am so happy that our date is coming up so soon. Happy Hanukah and know that the coming year will be unbelievably exciting........alot of work but well worth it. Linda
