I am going back to posting on Fitday.com...I have gotten away from it the last month or so. Thinking about a way to adding an extra protein shake without the calories...wonder if I can do a snack on tomato soup with Unjury unflavored protein powder?? Does it change the consistancy-has anyone tried it. Now that would be a perfect night-time snack-lower in calories and a great way to add another 30g of protein. OK...looking for comments here, but I am going to try it tonight anyway! B-cottage cheese-2oz- 12 g S-protein drink 30g L-salad w/tuna salad on top lite dressing 12g S-Momentum 12g D-half burger-creamed spinach-leftovers from dinner with the Ligas' (I love to name-drop!) 13 g S-tomato soup with Unjury-30 g That would give me 109g of protein! I need to figure out that calorie count though... Looking fwd to lots of posts on this log today..I need some ideas! XOXO Joanie

Hi Joanie, Hi Connecticut! It sure is cold here today, isn't it? It would be a good day for soup. I am out of protein shakes, and almost everything else too. I haven't been food shopping in 2 weeks! Gotta go tonight after work unfortunately. Here is my menu: B- blueberry muffin (made w/Splenda), and a string cheese S- morning start protein bar, if I feel hungry, otherwise Propel water L- green salad w/lite caesar dressing. S- Protein bar D- no idea, no food in the house. May have to get take-out after food shopping. Have a good day, and stay warm! I have a little electric heater here at work, and it is toasting my legs as we speak! Nice and warm. Bye, Anne

Hello Everyone! Hope everyone is staying warm in this freezing cold!!!! B- 16 CC "Hot Chocolate" (22g) L- 1/2 Chicken Cesar wrap (~15g) S- Q-Smart Bar (10g) D- 1/2 Chicken Cesar wrap (15g) S- Cheese (10g) 72g total.... Joanie, the unjury does not really affect the flavor or texture unless the soup is hot! If it is too hot it clumps..... As long as you don't mind warm soup it's a nice treat. Have a wonderful day! I wanted to share this here since its protein focused. When I was losing, Kim Bellevance (remember the recipe lady?) told us this simple way and good tasting way to get a protein jump. You take a slice of deli american cheese or any thinner sliced cheese. Put it on a paper plate and put it in the micro wave for 1 min. Let it sit there for 15 seconds and it crisps up and is a yummy crunchy treat! Enjoy! Cheryl

Hi Joanie, Just curious.. where do you get the unflavored Unjury protein powder from? I've been doing ok with my protein lately, but I'm sure some days I could use that extra boost. The people at GNC look at me like I'm crazy when I inquire about the "flavorless protein". (I am crazy.. just don't tell anyone!) Today's consumption... L-cup of low carb chicken enchilada soup D-Cheesy italian noodles and corn S-palm of corn chips w/homemade salsa (friend's made, had to try) Not one of my better days.. but I'm working on getting down to strictly protein/natural foods after the 1st. Take care, Michelle

Michelle I think the only place to order is is online. http://unjury.com/ It really mixes well and adds very little taste. They have sample packets you can order to try it out. Joanie
