LaToya's Finds Of the Week

Since everyone else has their own log, I wanted to contribute. Mainly, I will post sales or good finds that I have found or if there is something special to do in a city in CT. Anyone can also contribute, if you guys think this is a good idea, please feel free to post. Number 1 find of the week: Target Stores-go to their dollar spot usually in the front of the store when you walk in and they have exercise dvd's and well as VHS for 1.00. They also have jump ropes, hand grippers, and 1 lb weights for a dollar. They also have 12 pack of water, 16. Oz water bottle and then this huge bottle of water as I said before all for a dollar. Number 2 find this week: Joanie is always raving about the momentum bars so I happened to be in the dollar tree store i think it is considered Hartford near stop and shop but I am not sure-just keep going down the berline tkpe towards hartford and you will find it anyway they have the momentum bars for $1.00. It is a box of 4 and the ones that I found are the double chocolate-they are ok since I prefer the quaker q bars but they are a welcome change when a want a little variety. I think those are all the finds for this week that I can think of. Toya

Lol Deb, I know what you mean: I actually have to limit my shopping excursions to Target once a week because I have gone Thursday, Friday and Saturday and spent too much money. I know I have lost weight because I used to have to lean on the cart when I took my 2 hr long trip to target now I am just walking away in my heels like I am 150 pounds lol. I do love the Issac Mizrahi and I can not wait until I can get into his clothes.

Hi Latoya I love you idea and that will help us in Ct Message board closer and together to support each other. I am looking for next post about sales.... How is your law school application? Great idea Latoya. I love a good bargain and I sure do love Target. I'll have to see if I can get there tomorrow. Problem with Target is I can never seem to just go in and pick up what I need and my wallet always takes a beating. I have also been told that some Targets now have a low carb section which is two aisles of all low carb foods. My favorite protein bars are the Detour bars and they are carrying the new white chocolate caramel ones. Momentums or Q bars don't taste good to me anymore since I found my beloved Detours. Did someone say shop????? I went to Kohl's yesterday, and man o man such bargains 70% off original then an additonal 50% off!!!! I shopped up a storm. I think I'll go to Target tomorrow...I need workout tapes badly!!!!!!!!!!!! Then I'll apply for a third job, cuz 2 aren't supporting my shopping habit!! JA
