Hi all Went shopping after water aerobics last night. I needed a few things "just for me". I found Eskimo Pie Slender Pies. They are round ice cream sandwiches..low fat and made with splenda. They are 120 calories, 1.5 g of fat and 4 gms of protein! I decided to "make them last" and just have a mini treat...I would cut them in half. They sure are yummy...Umm guess what I had for breakfast this morning? B- 1/2 Eskimo pie slender bar- 2 g S- protein drink 30 g L-chicken caesar salad-16g S-30 pistaschio nuts 6g D-ham--green beans--1 tbsp or two of noodles s-1/2 slender pie Joanie

Hey guys! Here is the menu for the day: B- Morning start apple crisp bar, 11gr S- Protein shake, 20gr L- salad w/feta cheese and caesar dressing D- chicken, spinach Not sure what else I will eat today. I am sort of feeling down, I am on a plateau from hell. Been the same weight for a month, then the other day I got to 199. I was so excited, but it was for only a day. Now back up to 202 again!! I have been exercising, and that is doing nothing (so far). So, I am going to write down everything I eat and see if I am getting too many calories or carbs or fat... Well, have a good day everyone! Anne, I had a killer of a plateau just after my initial 20 lb. weight loss. It lasted for a month. I finally started writing down everything that went into my mouth including calories, carbs and protein, and do it to this day. It's the only way I lose any weight. And I force the 64 oz. of water in. Maybe if you change up your exercise too? Here are my plans for the day: B - fried mush 7g L - low carb bagel with pb 18g D - leftover orange chicken 21g (this turned out great by the way) S - sf popsicle beverages - 64 oz. water, plus some hot chocolate to take off the chill of shoveling! Hey Anne Can you ask your hubby to hid your weight scale for you? It make you feel down to find out how much you weights. I don t weight myself until I see Ar Aranow on Feb 25th. Last time I weighted was Jan 2nd. It droves me nuts to find out how much I weight everyday!!! Try to increase more cardio up to 30 min and increase alot of water more than 65 oz in your body between meals. Don t give up You can do it! Hugs Kathy K

Anne, I just wanted to say, it IS the "Plateau from Hell".. meant just for us. I think it's just something that happens this far out. It sounds like we're going through the same thing, and we had surgery around the same time. I did go down 2 lbs this past week.. but I had to starve to do it. Hopefully it eases up.. like the pros say it will. I'm pining away to be under 200. You're so close.. so hang in there!! Take care ladies! Michelle

Since you specially invited me Joanie...LOL OK, here's my old timer menu, remember- I'm 2+ years out... I don't keep track of protein grams...so can't help you there. Morning: 24 oz Decafe coffee w/FF cream and splenda later... 1/2 bagel with peanut butter & 1/2 banana Afternoon: Tea, tea and more tea One Healthy Choice roasted turkey with mashed potato (left most of the mashed potato) later... EAS Carb control Protein bar Night: crystal lite and vitamin water while I'm at the gym... homemade shrimp stirfry (no carbs except from veggies) and for a snack... probably something along the lines of a cookie...or some cheese crackers. That's about it. have a good day all!
