Last Nite's Meeting at St. Ray's
Hi Everyone...
I just wanted to thank everyone at last nite's meeting at St. Ray's for bearing with me...I was very nervous
...it was my first time public speaking. I know I got long winded and went a bit long, maybe put a few of you to sleep?
...but once I get started with the subject of wls, I tend to lose all track of time and space...I just feel so passionately about this life saving and life giving tool. Thanks again everyone...and if there is something that I didn't answer or address or something you want to ask me privately,
please don't ever hesitate to contact me. I try to answer all emails within 24 hours.
I
all of you, pre op and post op...you're all the best and
I love each and every one of you.
I am humbled to have been able to share my story with you.
Have a Sparkling Day Everyone!!

Hello Christine,
I am so sorry I missed the meeting last night I would of loved to hear your speech. Due to the weather and also I have a real bad cold I could not make it.
I promise I will be at the next one, I want to meet alot of the CT Message board family who attend this support group. Everyone like yourself is so kind and caring.
Its nice to know there are nice people out there.
I did watch on CPTV 10 & 13 public television station Alan Alda was narrating a whole series on Weight Loss Surgery and all the different types there are. They interviewed a person for each of the procedures and showed some of the surgery too, alittle grose but interesting to see what was done to me.
I think it is on again tonight. You should check it out.
Anyway, congratulations on your speech, wish I could of been there.
God Bless
Kim C

Christine~
I thoroughly enjoyed your presentation. It was great!!!
My husband is 1 year 5 months post-op and I am almost 4 months post-op. I was the one in back who applauded the better sex life statement. It's funny, married people drift apart intimately over the years due to added weight. Tommy (my husband) and I are just the opposite-
I won't get into detail
. He was over 350lbs. and I was close to 250lbs when we met 3 years ago.
I do believe that this tool will help us all have longer lives as long as we treat our pouches with respect.
By the way, thanks for responding to my post last night when I asked about the meeting, who knew a
celebrity
was going to answer me!
Thanks again for caring~
Stacey
