Question about Healthnet

Hello Everyone Just a question im hoping someone might be able to shed some light on.Just found out the new ins carrier my employer is going with on March 1 is Health Net. I still havent received a straight answer from my boss if our policy is going to have the WLS coverage in it but im staying hopeful here

Im just curious if anyone who has had the WLS done since the begining of the year and if they have how good or bad is Health Net to do with? Thanks for reading!!!

Hello Melissa, I have Healthnet and I am having the surgery next thursday. They approved me in about 24 hours. My BMI was 39 and I only had sleep apnea and acid reflux. I think it does depend on your employer but I would get the ball rolling asap. Good Luck.
