Kathy's Excercise Log- Wednesday
I just wanted everyone to know that I FINALLY went and exercised for my very first time at a gym yesterday afternoon. A personal trainer showed me how to use all the nautalis machines and we documented what all of my settings should be.
I used all 12 machines and I did at least 8 repetitions on all of them. I have to say I LOVED IT. I cant believe this is me saying I ACTUALLY liked exercising. I cant wait to go again. I was going to be trying a different gym tonight to see if I liked that one more before I joined, but I will have to go tomorrow instead.
So the plan is I will start out going to the gym at least 2 times per week for the nautilis equipment and I will go other days for the aqua aerobics. And in between I will walk on my treadmill at home.
I wont be able to post in here every day that Im exercising, maybe I can post once a week what I did for the week.
I was very excited this morning when I got on the scale and I had dropped 3 lbs since yesterday.
I went to the gym with a lap band friend and we plan to work out together. working out with other people you know is definately key to getting a person going if they are the type like me that really hates to exercise. but I find Im so excited now. It was not bad at all. and I found when I came home I had more energy and continued moving instead of sitting on the couch.
I wanted to go to that other gym tonight so bad, but I cant because I have to do something for my husband.
