I'm late on responding...however, I see no reason to jump to conclusions about stricture, ulcer, etc. You may well just have a good old fashioned case of Grouchy Pouch or Gas. Perhaps you've eaten something that irritated it (and yes- something that was fine yesterday may irritate you today!) ...or perhaps you're coming down with something. Go back to soft, safe foods for a day or two and see if it gets better. If not, go see your SURGEON as Pete suggests. However, if the pain worsens or you get any additional symptoms, make the call to your surgeon right away. Keep on top of it, OK? Best, Lisa C

Lisa: First of all I have to tell you that you are such an inspiration to me. You have done so awesome with your tool. Thanks for the info in this post. I am taking Pepcid Complete until Friday and then possible going for an upper GI to check things out. In the mean time I am taking it easy and going with soft stuff and shakes. Again thanks for being such an inspiring role model. You look great. Chryssie
