Middletown Support Group Meeting Mon.

Hi, All! There's a support group meeting Mon. night, 4/11, at Middlesex Hospital, from 7-8 p.m. Since it's the 2nd Mon. of the month, the meeting is for both pre- and post-ops. Although most attendees are patients of Dr. Aranow, anyone is welcome at the meeting. Peter Ligas (and Joanne?...and Melissa?) and I will be there and going to dinner after. Will anyone else be joining us? After last week's post-op support group meeting, Peter, Robin and I met at 99 Restaurant. They were very accomodating to us as post-ops and had no problem (and didn't charge anything extra) with the 3 of us sharing 1 dinner. We each had plenty to eat and I even took a little food home. Who would have ever thought that 1 restaurant meal could, in essence, feed 4 people? Debby

Debby, I have a question for you. I went to a support group on 3/28 and a woman running the meeting named Cathy said they might start those meetings at 6:30 instead of 7:00. Do you know anything about this? Thanks, Diana

Hi, Diana! When I went to the post-op support group meeting at Middlesex this past Tues., Kim Daniels said that starting in JUNE the Mon. night meetings will run from 6:30 to 7:30 and that possibly the post-op support group which meets on the 1st Tues. of each month will run from 6:30 to 7:30, too. Since the change in time doesn't take effect until June, I didn't mention it because I didn't want to confuse anyone. Will you be going Mon. night? Debby

Hi Debby, I just wanted to thank you for coming to see me at the hosptial last Tuesday. I am home now and doing very well. Its been a very positive experience thus far, with only incisional pain as the worst part. Thanks again. Heidi

Hi Debby, Thanks for getting back to me. I didn't want to be late if it started at 6:30 instead of 7:00. I live 50 minutes away so it takes me a little time to get there. I will be going tonight. This will be my 3rd pre-op meeting since my consultation with Dr. Aranow. Diana
