READY!
I have a date. I have a DATE! Happy Happy Joy Joy!..As anxious and scared as I was just a few days ago, as soon as I got my date I started feeling really excited.... Also, when I had my second meeting with my dietitian she said that the surgery takes about 45 minutes to an hour. That also helped put my mind at ease. And the ladies at Doctor Aranow's office are so great...I am Joyful nad Thankful

congratulations on your surgery date! when is the big day? i'm 14 months out and feel wonderful. yesterday i was talking with a good friend who is now over 3 years out. she looks fantastic. she is daibetic and was on 3 shots of insulin a day. before she left the hospital she no longer needed the shots. while she is still concidered diabetic and needs to test her levels are right were they need to be no more shots for now! i had the surgery because of arthritis. i couldn't hardly walk up my stairs and was thinking of selling my 3 level condo for something on one level. i was also looking at knee replacements and my hips were getting nasty too. couldnlt hardly sleep at night because of pain. well let me tell you i run without even thnking about it up and down those stairs. i can sleep a full 8 hours now without pain and even on my side! i've not slept on my side in years! and i no longer need replacements all becasue i am now 116 pounds less than i was 14 months ago. if that wasn't enough to make me jump for joy i now am wearing size 8 where as before I was a tight 26. i'm thrilled and overjoyed with my health results. The new clothes are a big old plus! good luck and god bless pam
