I have been starting all my tests.

Well Last night I went to the seminar with Kim and Elina and they were both so sweet. Today I had to go for my ultrasound of my gallbladder and they said all looked well. THANK GOD. Now I have Elina on Thursday and Kim next week. So the ball is rolling right along. I am just trying to schedule my appts for the sleep apnea and the Upper GI and I am having a hard time with that. I was very happy as today when I weighed in I only have 2 more lbs to go till I have lost the 10 lbs that Dr Aranow wanted me to loose. I am going to shoot for more then 10 though. I am going to start going to the support groups on Mondays. Are they every monday night for pre op?? I hope everyone is doing well and will talk to you all soon. Lisa P.

Hi Lisa, I am hoping to have my surgery soon too!!!! Im just waiting to do my cardiac and nutrition evals..... You and I have similar interests:country music and we both have our own home based businesses!!! I love working from home with my kids right here with me!!! Keep posting about your progress!!!! Bethany, Who are you having your surgery with? I am confused it say's Dr Barba but then it says another Dr in your profile. I am so trying to figure out how to put a journal typ thingy on the boards about my travels and my appts and such and I can't figure it out. Lisa

Hi Lisa, I too was at the seminar last night, very informative. Did you get the session schedule for groups? If not here you go: 1st Monday: Pre-Op Information Session 2nd & 3rd Mondays: General Pre and Post Op Support (this is great) 4th Monday: Post-Op Panel (great, Post Ops answer your questions) 5th Monday: Nutritional Info for Pre and Post Ops. They all start at 6:30 now. Congrats on your weight loss! I'm struggling with that as I quit smoking a week ago. I met with Kim and Elina today and they are both wonderful. I definitely feel as if we have the best support system there could be. Well, I hope to see you next Monday night! Take care, Robin

Robin you were there last night? Cool. I can't wait to meet someone whois goin g to be going through this about the same time I am. Do you have a Date or anything yet? I have more tests that I have to have before I can get a Date. Lisa

Hi Lisa, No date yet. All of my pre-op will be done on June 17th. I'm on edge though because I do not know if my insurance will cover me after June 30th. No one can give me an answer and it is so infuriating! Iwill be there next Monday night also, I would love to meet you. It would be nice to have a "buddy" as we go! Robin

HI Lisa Congrats on your processing... REad my profile about all of tests I took . Also I will be on Post op panel on June 27th at 630 pm at Middlesex hosptial. please come to see me after lecture because I love to meet new people and want to help all of you to reach your successful like I am now.
