Bad experience with steak!
Yesterday, I made london broil. I've had it many times before. I think I cooked it too much, and boy oh boy, it got stuck and I felt like garbage all day! It wouldn't go down and wouldn't come up. Just wished I could
but I couldn't!!!
It didn't subside until late last night! UGH! The pain in my pouch was horrible. I'm never eating that ever ever ever again!
I have a question too. If I don't eat, I'm fine. As soon as I eat, I feel like I just want to keep eating. Anyone else have this problem?

JA:
You poor thing!!! I hate that feeling. I have that happen also when the food is too dry. Give it a while and try it again.
I have the reverse thing going on. I have a hard time eating. I am hoping once I have my surgery and the pain goes away I will be able to eat more. I still have the old head hunger though. Is that what you are experiencing?
Take Care,
Chryssie
Hey JA,
I know how you feel. I had the same thing happen to me too. I can't eat any kind of beef anymore. Sometimes I feel like I have to keep eating too, but it goes away if I don't think about it.
Just take it slow, if you have to walk away and eat alittle more later on. It will get better.
Take care sweetie.

Oh, that's familiar. I can eat only the best cuts of steak, cooked rare to medium rare, and each small bite is eaten with a small blob of mashed or sweet potatoes, or occasionally some A1. If I reheat it the next day, it gets stuck. I don't know all the reasons, but I do heed the results. I suspect I may never be able to eat those kinds of meat the way I used to.

Hi JA, As far as the red meat goes, when I do eat some, I pop it into my little food chopper with a bit of A-1. I sometimes will slice small pieces and put them a small tuppewear container with some beef broth with a few mushrooms and green onion slices and take it to work for lunch. a couple minutes in the microwave and it perfect.
As far as wanting to keep eating,. Well, That feeling you get when its not digesting properly is enough to keep me honest.. Its just something you have to retrain yourself to do. I eat off those little paper dessert plates and it seems to help me. A regular size plate looks gigantic to me now. If you feel you must have something more to eat, go for the suger free ice pop, at least its will give you water which you need. Good luck and know your not alone on this journey. Lots of folks here to talk to along the way!
