Bad experience with steak!
I had my bad experience with cold turkey after thanksgiving last year. I swear that bird had it out for me! It took forever for it to go away I was praying to have it come up or down and no way it was staying right were it was. Now I just can't stand the thought of cold turkey. I've still not had left over turkey since. Its the dryness to it. Now after reading everyones postings with hints on adding some moisture to meat I think I'll dry some of them with the turkey! good luck and god bless, Pam
Thanks Pam, I never had problems with turkey, but chicken did me in for a looooonnnnngggg time. Beef was never really a problem until this past weekend.
I learned my lesson well, and it was the "longest day" ever, I swear.
Your post made me giggle I must say!! Darn birds kill us sometimes don't they?

Hey there..you & I are two peas in a pod..I cannot tolerate steak at all. No matter how much I marinate it..luckily it comes right back up..I've never had it stuck...(thank GOD!)
I think the eating thing is the "old habits & Head hunger" I noticed lately that it's been "creeping" up on me too, I'm thankful I recognize it..& I'm lucky my new tummy tells me to knock it off rather quickly.
I've never been much of a red-meat eater so missing steak/beef at this point in time doesn't really matter to me...also having the last two experiences of throwing up on it really has turned me off to it.
I love chicken & so far so good no problems...I've tried processed low fat turkey slices from the Deli..& with Light Mayo it's pretty agreeable with me.
Pork I'm still a little skittish about..I did try a pork rib from the grill with some apple sauce and it stayed down..but the next time who knows??
It seems we all at one time or another are going through the same cycle with trying different things & what works/what doesn't. It's a science isn't it?
Hang in there,
Mickey
