Stretching my pouch?
Hi Robin
No Liquid is not stretching your pouch but since you are a week after your surgery. SIP SIP Slowly and do not force yourself finish all once but if you feel full or your chest hurt then STOP and sip it later
Please email me at [email protected] if you have any other question then I will be gladly to help you
Don t forget to take for a walk around inside the house
Hugs
Kathy K

Thanks for the advice, I do need to sip slowly that's a hard habit to break. I have been walking. My husbands off for the summer (HS English Teacher) so we've been "mall walking" and using a podometer helps me keep track. I hope to meet you at one of the next meetings- I hope to get to the next one!
Love,
Robin

Kathy's correct. You can't stretch your pouch with liquid. However, you can cause yourself a nice little pouchie ache if you drink too much at one time or gulp. Think of your pouch like a funnel. It can get a little backed up if you proceed without caution. Also be careful withthe temperature of liquids in your healing pouch- don't drink anything super hot or super cold. Remember to treat your pouch like a litt newborn baby stomach while it's healing!
Good luck to you!
Congrats on being a one week postie!
best,
