Support Group Meetings

Hi, All! Because of Halloween, there's a change in the topics for the Middletown support group meetings (at Middlesex Hospital, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.) for the next 2 Mondays. This coming Mon., 10/24, is the 4th Mon. of the month and would usually consist of a panel of post-ops giving a presentation to pre-ops. The following Mon., 10/31, is the 5th Mon. and would normally be led by Elina Schwartz (the dietician) and would cover nutritional info. for both pre- and post-ops. But due to Halloween, the 2 weeks will be reversed. So this coming Mon. Elina will lead the group and on Halloween there'll be a panel of post-ops. I don't know yet who's going to be on the panel, so I don't know if I'll be going to support a friend then or not. But I will be there on the 24th. Who else is planning to go? And who's going to join us for dinner afterward? Please come out with us whether you're a pre-op or a post-op. The point of going out isn't the food; it's the additional support and the opportunity to get to know each other better. And if you'd rather eat before, the restaurants we go to don't mind if you just get something to drink and don't eat at all.
