Eating my way through the holidays

You are not a failure at all! You are making some very hard decisions at a very difficult part of the year thats all. Think of it this way, by next year you will have had your surgery and you can go into the 2006 Holiday season with a game plan b/c you already went through it this year. At least this is how I am hoping that it will work out for me.
