Gall bladder surgery at St. Vincents on Friday

Hi Nancy, I had my gall bladder removed by Dr. Ehrlich this past week (I've had the RNY since 12/05). It was easy going! Went in around 8:30...was supposed to go home same day at noon...but had a little itching (some med allergy)...so I went home around 4PM. Have been walking around since then...no problems with soft foods, bathroom issues or pain. It has been pretty easy! Feeling great! So you will be just fine! Hope it goes well! DC
