Hi Everyone! How are you all doing? Did you have a great long weekend and Memorial Day?

I had a busy, busy weekend! I kept my newborn grandson Friday and Saturday night along with my 8 year old Grandson. OMG!!! I forgot what it was like! Every three hours!!! I was a tired puppy! My neighbor took him Saturday afternoon and I actually took a nap to catch up! My nephew graduated from Sacramento State University with honors, they had the graduation out at Arco Arena. It was Awesome! I am so proud of him. We had the neighbors over for bbq yesterday after the Memorial Day parade so it was a busy weekend! I hope you all are doing great, and I wish you a great day no matter what you are doing today!!! Enjoy!!! Love, Jeni

Good Back-To-Work Tuesday Jeni and Cali Crew! Yes the holiday weekend is over and this bear is up, sippin' the old java and trying to work up the gumption to get ready for work! But the upside is it is only four work days until the weekend! D and I had a terrific weekend with a family dinner here Saturday and we went to see Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull yesterday (loved it!!!) then to lunch and some shopping. I am glad to hear you liked the new movie as it has been getting bagged in reviews! Scott and Ash are going to see it today.....my son's idea of a romantic anniversary date LOL!!!

Wow Jenni it sounds like you had a super awesome weekend!!!! Isn't it the best to see the kids graduating from college? OMG that is so exciting and a big congrats to your nephew!!!!

I pretty much dorked around all weekend with grandkids. Painted for a number of hours....and bbq yesterday myself and was able to catch some rays too, but it was too cold for the babies to go into the water.

Glad is only a 4 day week....starting day off sleepy because I did not get to be late...can't sleep if people stay too late on a work night for me. I have yet another interview today....I am getting burnt out on interviews. I know it is a good thing...but you never know what will happen until the last minute! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Now does my little guy Hunter have the best smile or what?

He is the best little guy.....he laughs so much that he gives himself hiccups!!! I sent this to his other grandma and said how could you not help just smooching all over him!

Monica.....love the pictures of Jordyn....keep them coming and all you grandma's and mom's....babies are surely a gift!

Good Morning Jenni & The Beautiful Cali Crew

t This was an exhausting weekend. Didnt do anything special. I cleaned all weekend and washed my hair. Just preparing to start Summer School TODAY!

But, the sad/bad news just keeps coming.

My sister text me(we don't get along) that my Uncle James died. He was my dads brother and one of my favorite uncles. I hadn't seen him in a long, long time. I'm not sure if he died on Memorial Day or what, but wouldn't that be ironic seeing as he was a military man

He wasn't even old. He had to be only 60. I don't yet know what the cause of death was, but I'm sure I will find out in time. I do have fond memories of him though. When I was a little girl, he always greeted us kids with this BIG BEAR hug with the beard stubble scratching our faces

and of course he always smelled like beer

Its' too bad we don't tell people how much of a positive impact they have made on our lives when they are living. How much time does it really take to type a letter or send a card expressing this. Here I am

right now. One letter per day or per week to each person who made a difference in your life. Just something to think about. To tell you the truth, I'm starting to feel my own mortality
