Good Morning Janine & The Beautiful Cali Crew Gotta  back to The grandkids are just too cute Janine I know you're excited about your vacation.  However, us parents are busy trying to figure out where to put these life gifts (rambuncious little critters) this summer Have a Marvelous Monday Everyone!

{Terri aka horselovinlady....congrats on your niece graduation! Marysville can be quite hot as I recall...and I remember one year my husband and I were coming back from Oregon on our motorcycles and I felt scared there because they did not seem to take kindly to bikers....and a chick on a bike...I hightailed it outta of there after getting gas! Long time ago and I am sure things have changed since!} Good Morning Janine and everyone in Cali: Yes we are to friggen hot.  Marysville has gotten better and a lot of bikers here, used to be a little hick town.  It actually takes me 20-25 min to get there I live up in the foothills in Loma Rica with my husband and horseys, but we still have the Marysville zip code.  Yeah it was was awesome weather in the Bay Area at the Graduation, would love to be back there, just not so quite close to most of my family I love them but like to keep a little distance. Although partee'd a little with two of my neices that was a treat, since I rarely to that anymore, but it's good for the soul and keep's me young and it touch with my kids and neices and nephews that are in there 20's and 30's.  Well better go my Physch appt is at 11:00am and gotta leave in 30 min.  Have a great day everyone.     PEACE

Good Morning Janine and Cali My weekend was nice.  My dad has been gone for many many years, and my daughters father lives in another state, but my niece and her husband came over and hung out yesterday.  They live in riverside so they thought they would come down to LB to cool off. Still not smoking.  That scare I had with the stress test was enough to make me quit!  I haven't even needed the patches. LOL  don't even want one anymore.    I am waiting to hear back from my surgeons office any day now with a date for surgery.  I will keep everyone posted.  I can't wait to get some of this weight off.  My plantar fasciitis is killing me I hope everyone has a great week Linda

Can I just say that I think Janine is amazing!  I look at your daily post and I am just amazed how you notice everyone and acknowledge everyone!  You are amazing!   My weekend was good.  The CBEST was annoying,   I have past every part but the math, so I was trying to focus on the math portion.  I feel like an idiot to be honest, it is 8th grade math and I didn't pass the first time.  I have not taken a math class in over 8 years so it is all foreign to me.  Oh well, I told myself that if I didn't pass this time I would hire a high school student to tutor me, now that is embarrassing.  I want to do social work in the schools, so why do I need the CBEST?    I spent the rest of the weekend doing NOTHING!  It was good and I am not happy that Monday has already arrived.   Hope everyone has a great Monday!   Lola

Good Morning Janine & all of California!

The weekend was awesome, full of adventure and new experiences.

I got to go kayaking on Saturday morning. It was great, I thought I would be sore....but no! My trainer would be so proud.

Thanks Kim for the tip on the sale at Frederick's I picked up two badly needed bras and now my deflated boobs are perky once more.  Also, out of curiosity I went inot Victoria's Secret to take a look around and was thrilled to learn that I fit into their bras now!

The opera on Sunday was fantastic. I saw a beautiful production of La Rondine by Puccini which was directed by the wife of Placido Domingo.  There was a lecture before the performance and I got to hear her talk about how she put the production together. I think I'm hooked, I want to come back again!!

I'm back to wrk in my cubicle now and I have a long day ahead of me.  :(

Good Morning Janine! My Birthday/father's Day weekend was good. We ran all weekend and did lots of "boy" stuff...I am pooped! I am so busy today doing last minute things for the kids graduation tomorrow. My daughter is very high maintanence (like her Mama) so we have to go for her second spray on tan today as well as nails and pedicure. All this for 8th grade graduation...what the ehck am I up for when she graduates from high school????  Hope everyone has a great day...its gonna be a hot one!

Happy Monday! Filleting fish went well, I got 6 more fish for my labors.  Tucked them into the freezer and will enjoy them.  The music thing..well it wasn't country, blues, or rock but DH enjoyed it. :-) Today is a quiet day reading and going to the grocery store. Hi Janine and Cali, Wow I am a little late today. It isn't really the morning anymore but better late then never right? Janine those pictures are absolutley adorable. All I can say is WOW! How cute can a kid get anyway?  I had a great time with my family in Reno and back at work back on track. I have a softball game tonight for my job and then I will crash. I am exhausted today and wanting my bed more then ever. Hugs to all, J
