Good Tuesday Morning Cali!!!

Yeah Ive actually met a couple of poeple from the boards already and they are great!!  Like we have been friends already before we met.  And Im actually getting out of the house now.  Figure that.  Ive been a party pooper as of late with my depression, PTSD stuff, but im turning a corner and making the most of it.  You guys seem great and Ill really be glad to meet tose coming to the meet and greet.  Thats what its all about...making connections.  And we need each other!!  Hugs to all, Jess

Hi all in California...(I am in the IE) somehow I've lost the first note I wrote...but it contained an angel..lol  I am a newbie to this site, but not to the WLS program.  I've got my consult date a week from today with Dr. Suh and I am so jazzed.  It was a long and painful road to this date and I am thrilled to be amoung such brave and wise folks who made this decision.  I entered this journey almost 3 yrs ago, finished my Kaiser classes last Oct 31, but had to put off any decisions because of a choice I had to make on whose life was more important to see to than mine.  I made the right decision and Mom is now in Heaven and I am sure she wants me to continue this quest.  I already attend support groups...different ones and they are all unique and inspirational.  I went to one in Rancho Cucamonga last night that rocked!!  Please feel free to contact me and say howdy dooooo...Good day and God Bless....Kim

Happy Tuesday. Yes, Janine I survived 28 kids! I had to hire life guards to keep an eye on the kids which is a good thing because I couldn't have done it by myself. Actually, they won't even let you rent the pool without them. I had lots and lots of help! LOL Anyway, hope everyone is doing well. Just popping my head in again and being a lurker.

Good morning Janine and Cali crew!

YES! I am so happy to be home, and I agree I had the best Angel ever! Joy was constantly checking up on me and even brought me the coolest little present with lots of goodies!!

As I am typing here, I have noticed I have had to backspace ALOT, so apparently I am still a little out of it! So please forgive any of my misspellings or correct spelling but wrong word used, lol.

The hospital was so wonderful to me. (Joy wanted me to share this with all of you). When I first got my room, it was a shared room, my room mate was very nice. She left after a few days. So the day she left I asked if I could PLEASE be moved to a private room. My eldest daughter (11 yr)  wanted to spend the night with me so bad, and the only way that was possible was if I was in a private room. So the staff was able to get me into a private room, and my daughter spent the night with me Saturday night!!!! It was so awesome! She was having a hard time with me being gone for so long!

Now for my questions, I am still "dizzy" when will I snap out of this? When will I start feeling "normal"?

Thanx for the great shout out Janine! I know I still have to be careful, and I'm hoping that I won't need thescrew to be put in. All I can say is that I have my freedom back. I'm doing great on the crutches. I hope everyone has a great day. You teachers are just awesome!! I always wanted to get my teaching creds, but never had the financial sources. I want to teach high school. English or American Lit. That was one of my favourite classes my senior year. You guys and gals ROCK!!!!!! xoxoxo

I'm wearing the CUTEST butterfly sweater from Old Navy today in the office. It's just DARLING! And some tres cool cream Joes Jeans from Marshalls... awesome!

This morning, my roommate said, "Kim do you realize you've attained the body most women want?" She shook her head. Is that not an awesome 'WOW' comment from another chick? My roommate has been the best support EVER through my lap RNY and plastics with awful complications!!! She rocks! Remember to thank those who've supported you through dire times and consistently support you each and every day. It matters!!!

I'm still sore and swelling by mid-day and oh-so tired at night. But it was worth it. I would like to know when my energy will return enough to really work-out again and to climb this really steep hill next to the canal so I can go cat-fishing at night again. I'm hoping a month?

I get the injections tomorrow morning.... So, I will be able to answer your question in a couple of days.  LOL  I have been spending the morning picking up around here and taking care of last minute stuff as my MIL is coming to the house tonight to be here with the kids in the AM and get them off to school.  I have to be up in Fresno at 6am to the surgery center.  I imagine that I will be home before noon tomorrow....? If I am not too out of it, I guess I could let someone know via text if they want to post about it. 

If everyone could keep their fingers crossed that this helps me out, I sure would appreciate it! 

Okie dokie- off to the post office and then to school!
