I think I'm finally nervous!
My nerves are here. My surgery is tomorrow. Freaking TOMORROW.
Today I'm sporting a giant pimple on my freaking nose...
And a cold sore on my lip.
I do beleive my nerves have gotten the better of me with those two bad boys popping up. Last night when I was talking about it with my husband my stomach was twisting and turning with nerves. I'm excited of course to begin my new life, but nervous and scared at the same time.
we're waking up at 3:30 to go drop our daughter off with a sitter for the day (my best friend) and then we're headed to San Francisco (45 minutes away) where I have to check in by 6, and surgery is scheduled for 7:30 am.
I can't beleive my time has come.

Just take a deep breath everything will be ok. Just think of where you will be after the surgery on your way to a new healthier life for you and your family. What a perfect time to be in San Francisco. I hope you have a great view from your room.
I will pray for an uneventful surgery and for a speedy recovery.

they called me this morning to confirm surgery time, I mentioned the pimple...which is already going away....they didn't care about that...told them I think I'm getting a cold sore...and that I've been putting abreva on it all day so far, she said as long as it doesn't begin to blister it should be ok....I'm hoping I caught it in time...I was just starting to feel 'the tingle' if you ever get cold sores you know what I mean....and I've used abreva on them in the past at the 'first sign of the tingle' and been lucky enough a few times that the cold sore was stopped dead in it's tracks...and never actually formed...so here's to hopin'!
