Morning Kids!!

I usually don't post on weekends, but I was awake, and thought I'd see what the haps were on the ole OH Cali board.

Today,  I've got little planned other than dropping off rent at the post office and getting my toes done. I was going to go to a Halloween store and check out the costumes, but I caved and ordered the cutest scarecrow online. I was recently invited to a costume party, so I had to get one! It was between that scarecrow and a "lady zorro", which was outta site sexy. While that would have rocked, I didn't want to be over-the-top hot for this party which will likely have kids there, too. Scarecrow is cute and still hot enough for me. Win win!

For dinner, I might hit the new upscale burger joint in Culver City, our branch of Santa Monica's Father's Office. My sis and her hubby are waiting to see how up for it he'd  be after he gets off work today.

Tomorrow, since I probably won't post (hopefully I'll be sleeping!!), is the church singing gig, then the family (my small fam - mom, dad, sis , gma - bro in law will be working) heads on out to the fresh seafood market at the Redondo Beach Pier. I hate seafood!!! I can deal with clam chowder and they do have half a chicken there, as well as other small food places with other choices. It's just nice to spend an afternoon with them.

And mom's having HER surgery on October 15, so I'm sure she's packing in as much "can't have for a while" food as she can. I know I did.

Morning! Been up for a little bit now, just drinking coffee and surfin' the web.

Was going to go the the No. Cal Meet and Greet in San Jose, but my nurse is coming at 11:30...I have to be there for them..or I can lose this service. If I lose it, that means going to Kaiser every other day, paying the co pay, and waiting for who knows how long to be seen....no way. I only have about 2 weeks left until all this is healed up............don't want to blow it now!

Then I'll probably just hang out with my sister, she's having her moving sale today. I may go and get a massage if they have an opening........I am really loving this time off now that I'm feeling better!

The sun is shining, but it's still a bit wet out........I love a first fresh rain!!

Norning all.  It's been a busy week for me and this weekend is more of the same.  We picked up Jayden last night and today I am snuggled in my blankie for a bit.  I'ts raining like a mad dog here so we will probably not go to the monster truck show tonight.

2 of my kids are home so we have a house full of 20 year olds.  My new fridge showed up so I have to clean it and install it today.  Grass seed for the back yard and a few bills to pay. 

I'm headed back to work on Monday so have a few things to get done before then.

Don't 'cha just loooooooove this weather!!??  Its going to come in handy for me today..I will be participating in a Fall Festival at a sister church in Rialto.  I belong to St. Luke's Episcopal church in Fontana, and our sister church is St. Peter's in Rialto.  (Acacia  3 blocks N off Foothill) There are going to be lots of vendors and a few events, The weather alone will make for a great day.  I made 2 batches of Banana Amish Friendship bread...made as muffins, to sell.  I think you can guess who got into the muffins already..."burp" 
One of my church's tables is a kid's grab bag out of a cauldron..lol  quick,easy, fun, and when the kiddies grab all the bags..I'm outta there..lol  I have to keep my distance from the food vendors.....easier said than done.  Come "buy" if you like!!!
