Good Tuesday Morning Cali

Morning Friend,

I slept in...got up around 7 am...it felt so good. I've spent the last few nights trying to sleep on my bed, but because of the wounds on my backside, it's just not all that comfy...and I won't even attemt to sleep on my tummy! So, last night it was back to the couch and I slept like a baby! I lose my couch to my brother when I move in a few weeks, so I hope i can sleep on my bed by then!

Walked like a mad woman on Sunday, and took it easy more yesterday. I did get a lymphatic massage which felt sooooo good.

Oh yeah, Kaiser lost my HIPA form AGAIN, and I had to fill one out for the 3rd time, so they can release my medical records to disability and UNUM.....the lady was so rude to me last time, I filed a grievence yesterday.....

Today is an easy day.....no plans except to pack and nap.......yeah!

Good Morning All!  It's days like this that I really really miss caffeine!  Can someone just give me an IV full of it please????????

First day of work went well.  Only had 796 e-mails to delete!  Made it through the day just fine.  It's my kids that baffle me!  My oldest is 25, has a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and has the common sense of a garden slug!!!!!!!!!!

His car broke down last Friday on his way to visit his momma.  We had it towed to the house.  He didn't look at it on Saturday.  He and Joe looked at it on Sunday night.  My daughter and her boyfriend left to go home (she and her brother live together in Folsom).  Nick took Monday off with no pay.  Monday they went to talk to our mechanic.  It was at this point the *%R*&$)# kid mentions that he has a 7 year 100K warranty on the engine.  WTF???????  Why didn't you mention this on Saturday and we could have had it towed to dealer and sent him home with sister, not missed a day of work, and most importantly Mother would not have had to drive his butt to Dunnigan to meet up with a friend of his to take him home.  I got home at 11:30 last night.  I want caffeine!!!!!!

Joe to Maggie my pretty black lab to spend the afternoon with her "boyfriend" yesterday and then he picked her up after work.  There is something wrong with a dog prancing into the room at 2:00 am with that "hahahaha I got some" walk going on.  Something really wrong.  We should have pups in about 2 1/2 months with championship hunting lines. 

Off to work.  Hopefully I'll wake up soon!

Thanks for the shout out Janine.  I'm back from a long weekend in San Jose.  We left early Thursday morning and flew back late yesterday.  Overall a great weekend.  Got to spend some time with OH people, ran a PR in the 1/2 Marathon, spent some time in San Francisco, a bit of time wine tasting, and spent a lot of time relaxing (which I desperately needed).  I just have one question......why do vacations have to end?  LOL

Nathan is doing ok....but very sore.  He is hoping to play in the big game this weekend, but I think I am going to veto that idea.  Just a week ago he was in a helocopter...he needs more than a week recovery.  Maybe next week?  I know as much as I don't want him to play ever again, I can't hold him back forever from where his heart is.  He is a football freak....and quite good at it.  Ugh!

Good morning Janine and Cali,

Thank you for the shoot out this morning.  It always makes me feel so special.  That is me on the right and my mommy on the left.  She amazes me and at 58 she is running her first marathon.  She is my rock!  LOL! 
I officially dislike everything about my boss and truly she is not fit for her job, but what can I do.  She is insecure and sneaky, two things a boss shouldn't possess.  LOL!  My coworker said my boss is made because I am losing weight and getting skinny.  It made me laugh and smile.  The sad part is she is probably right.  I am the complete opposite of my boss and I think that intimidates the boss.  I just need to stay put for another 9 months and things will be fine. 

Well, enough of me babbling about my boss.  I am off to the gym and than to work.

Yeppers Im here... but was real busy yesterday.  Had a lovely ordeal with some bad news and had to get a ativan injection to calm my nerves.  For some reason this am my log on to obesity help was not working for about an hour.  Wierd... Anyway got to go to appointments today and mail some stuff.  Im in a carb craving mode so I have to be extra careful to eat my protein today.  So far so good though.  Hope you ahd a lovely weekend.  Jess

Yesterday sucked!! I was barely out of my car before my boss came up to me and yelled at me for writing on the nurses note what the doctor actually said. He said it sounded punitive! Well thats was the damn Dr said. Tell him not to order things so punitive!! Told me to change it!! Then he informed me that it was my last day. Yesterday not Wednesday. He said at 400 we would meet and I would turn in my keyes, badge and get my final paycheck. I was suppose to wor****il 830. I was also suppose to work Tuesday and Wednesday. So he yanked 20 hours from me. JACKA$$!!! Like the bill collectors care that my ex boss is a ****!!! So needless to say I was so very upset last night and it is carrying over to today. UGH, guess I will try to do stuff around the house or whatever. All I have planned between now and Friday morning is my CPR renewal class for 4 hours. Life goes on!!

Hi Janine and Cali Crew!

Boy, yesterday was just awful with work... I really let it get to me for some reason... I ended the day with a beautiful long walk... FELT GOOD! I need to start really hitting the gym again... wanna build muscle!!! My weight maintenance is doing well thank goodness.

One GREAT thing that happened yesterday... part of my Halloween costume arrived in the mail!!! I'M SO LOOKING FORWARD TO THE OH EVENT AND COSTUME PARTY!!! I haven't dressed in costume in years and never could have pulled this one off! My roommate said the costume fit like a glove and was made for me. How funny!

Today, I'm at work waiting on some text so I can complete more pages. This is a miracle in the making getting this one done. I'm not letting it get to me today. Sure did help to vent to boyfriend and friends yesterday. Makes all the difference when one is heard.

I'll try to fit another walk in tonight or hit the gym... wanna be there minimum two days a week... with added walks now that the weather is great. Sure works out that anxiety and put me in a different mindset.

One other thing... I slept on my tummy for the first time since plastics!!! I used a small body pillow... it felt SO good!!! Was tough getting up though, but got great rest finally!!! I'm three months out from plastics and healing well. Scars are REALLY fading quickly, don't know if it's the Bio Oil or not or just the protein I'm eating. I notice a major difference since a month ago and look less like Frankenstein's ugly sister.

Thanks to all of you for the support.  No one ever said raising a child would be easy, but I had no idea how hard it would be.  I was able to find a counselor for my daughter.  She comes home tonight (she has been with my brother's since Thursday)  We'll see how it goes

I hope everyone has a great day.  Looking forward to seeing all of you that are going to Tom's Farm. 

I wish I was able to go to the Oct 31 OH event.  Sounds like a lot of fun.  But, my daughters father is coming for a visit that weekend, and we have a lot to discuss regarding my daughter.

I just keep plugging away on the resumes. I sent out 4 more last night. I hope I hear something soon.

I have 6 days until I go back to Ortho to find out if they are going to put a screw in my ankle. If they do, it's back to the wheelchair for about 8 weeks. Ugh!!

I am excited about the LA OH Event at the end of the month. I bought my costume yesterday. I purchased my ticket, but I need to book the hotel still. I am looking for 2 people to share a room with. Finances are really TIGHT right now.

Please send prayers/good thoughts that I hear something soon about a job. I hope everyone has a great day! =)
