Yesterday and Today!!!

A few days ago I was talking about how clothing sized have changed over the years. Well, My Mom just cam in with some vintage patterns here are the measurements chart of yesterday:This is for a size 12
Bust...........32
Waist........25
Hips...........34
Now for today. Also for a size 12.
Bust..........36 1/2 - 37 1/2
Waist.......29-30
Hips..........39-40
Now this is just from one source.
When I was in high school sophomore year I weighed 113 pound, 5'4 and I wore a perfect size 9.  I thought I was huge. This is because my best friend was 99 pounds but only 5'O she wore a size 3.

I just wanted to share this with everyone.

Oh JOY!!!!   I should wear bigger clothes lol... Yeah I hear you I have a vintage dress from my great grandmother and the sizing is wayyy off from todays standards.

Now that the sizes I remember, So we are not crazy... I guess they are making them bigger so we will feel smaller???

Good Morning Joy,
Now it all makes sense why my sz 12 from 20 years ago just now fit, while I am buying todays 8 in the stores.
As I  recall in the day, there was no size 0? they had to add it in there,was there?
