Hollister had a place that did skydiving when we lived there.  You land in one of the farmer's fields to the south east where DH and I used to walk.  It was fun watching them.

I will hope a video will be involved.  I will have to do that thing where you get tied to the instructor.  Canoeing is exciting to me too!!!

Skydiving is on my list, too.  I know a woman locally that went skydiving two or three months ago - KaWinkyDink9 is her name on OH.  She could tell you where she went, and she has photos you can check out!  She had a blast, she said!  Maybe you and I could go together.  I know my husband has absolutely no intention of jumping out of a perfectly good airplane!

It is funny you should ask this. My 100 lb. gift to myself is going skydiving and I am making my plans now if you need a partner! It's only $100 up to 200 lbs. Anything over 200 lbs. in $1/lb extra. Up to 250 lbs. you get to tandem dive (with someone attached to you) at 13,000 feet- this includes 60 seconds of freefall and then 5 minutes of the glide in with the parachute. If you weigh over 250 lbs. you jump from 6,000 feet and only get a 30 second freefall and 5 minute glide. You don't have to have reservations, but you do have to be there before 3 p.m. They fly from 9 am to 3 p.m. This is the place in Lodi. Yeah I definately want to do the tandem dive.  I would be scared to do the solo act lol.  Ooo that would be fun to do.  And thats a good price too.  I thought it would be much more.  Yeah let ke know when you are going.  Gee im still supirzed Lodi is the center of the skyjumping universe :)
