ENDPORPHIN JUNKIE- EXERCISE THREAD !!
EVERYONE IS WELCOME ON THIS POST Did you move your @$$ today Endorphin Junkies :Today's topic Music playlists
Music goes a long way with motivation me to work out. I can't imagine running, cycling, or lifting weights without some good tunes to keep the energy level high.
I take a lot ot time to create a good playlist. I also look at others music choices. I can always use some help. I was wandering through iTunes Essentials today and found alot of playlists. Different genes for cadio, weightlifting. It is even divided era - 1960's, 70's, 80's and so on... Anyway, I could go on and on, so I will stop now.
Do you workout to music? Is it helpful? Have you ever bought a pre-set playlist? I have used cd players (dropped it), cassette players (dropped it), and now the iPod nano.
I must go now and get back on my exercise wheel !!! WEEEEEE

Set your Goals high, and don't stop till you get there. ~Bo Jackson~
I have an iPod Nano. We have music at the gym but most of it just too slow for me and the faster stuff isn't music I like. (I like rock music, especially alternative and some punk.)
I don't have a particular playlist. If a song comes on that doesn't work for me, I just fast-forward to the next one.
When I was figure skating, I had a warm-up playlist and each song I did a different type of warm-up exercise to.

I have been trying (and changing) a new playlist. I think I need to have different playlists for warmup- cardio- weight lifting- cool down. I do not know alot of the songs, so when I see a list, I go play it on iTunes. Since I got several prepaid cards ($65) for my birthday, I can really experiment. I love listening to "Who let the Dogs out?"
