Its a Tricky Treaty Friday Gang!!!!BOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Morning Cali...Happy Halloween and a Tricky Treaty TGIF!!!!  OMG can you all believe it is FRIDAY?????????? I thought the day would NEVER come!!!

Today ought to be an interesting day at school with all the kids dressing up. I always look forward to that. The Halloween dance at school was cancelled today because of 2 students causing a major fight at the corner store resulting in the owner even being hurt. They were arrested and all, but the principal decided that since a lot of students knew there was going to be a fight and no one came forward to saying anything prior to all this happening...everyone was going to have to pay the price. Personally, I am glad he did this because they have to learn that it is everyone's responsibility!

My friend at work...yes I have one LOL....well we are going to dress up today as priates. Although she is going to look cuter just because she is younger and is cute!

When we were at the mall in Hot Topics....I had a little wow moment...I was looking at the sizing on the fishnets that said "one size fits most"....now I thought that is a real twist on one size fits all. I bought them and told Joanna that if they do not fit, I would just wear tights. Well they fit with room to spare! I have never had fishnets in my life and it still feels weird when the sales gal says that things will fit in a junior store. I thought not bad at 54!

Well anywho.....Steve it is a real bummer that you cannot make it on Saturday. I am super bummed about it as you and D must be, but we sure all understand the money crunch. This is a luxury for a lot of us to come to this convention. Thanks for being on top of the weight loss thingie too! Did you get rain out in SanBerdoo? Oh btw...the Toms Farm thing...I am still planning on attending and will be bringing my grandchildern...yes both of them with at least one dil! I am excited about that!!!

Jean you shopping fool...OMG I swear you shop all the the time. I know bargins, but sheesh girl you are and Olympian at it gf!!! Thanks for letting me dump my bags somewhere! I still gotta figure out what to wear and the weather!

Linda I am glad you got your pouch stretch and food will be able to stay down. That sucks you had to go through this for sure!

Julia you are doing great on your wl too...OMG you and Linda are going to be peanuts in no time!

Monica W....sure glad to see that you are doing better each day. Jordyn is going to never remember this and you will get to a point where you will want to put her down cuz she has gotten so big! I sure know this with my grandkids!

Rhonda that is great about being down to 250...isn't it amazing that we are willing to post those numbers and there was a time that we would have been mortified to even whisper it let alone believe it! Keep on going girl!

Lisa I sure hope that sinus infection does not plague you for a couple of weeks like it did me. OMG it was horrible!! Take care of yourself and if you have 20 loads of wash...well I am wondering how many clothes do you have??? Have fun trick n treating with your daughter!

I wish Hunter was going to dress up...although I got a super cute picture of him last night with a skull and bones doo-rag on my cell phone...maybe I get it uploaded here! Today is work then handing out candy to the little ones! I hope a lot come and take it all, I guess what they dont take I will take into work, lol.
I totally agree Janine about the dance, life has consequences and gotta learn that!!! Have fun with the kiddos tonight.
I am sorry I cant make it this weekend, but I just got paid today and already have only $170 left. Space rent and expressway payment took all my money. Also I get to go see babies tomorrow and see if 2 fit me!!! Other than that no plans for the weekend, just the usual laundry and things like that!!

Good Morning Janine and Cali,

What a surprise to be awakened to rain this morning.  I hope it is going to pass quickly as this is my first year to hand out candy to the trick or treaters from my first home.  I can't do a lot of it but I am looking forward to having them come none the less.

Yesterday was the best.  The only good thing about recoop time is spending all day with my baby girl and yesterday she said ma ma.  Of course it was a repeated cadence but who cares it counts.  She said da da over the weekend but he wasn't here to hear it so it doesn't count. Just kidding.  Oh and she took her first steps over the weekend too.  My lil girl is growing up.

OMG Monica she is walking???? How old is Jordyn? I love it when they first start talking. Ava and Hunter both are blabbers, but Ava speaks quite distinctively sometimes...especially when she says "Hi NeeNee" you know I swoon! Ava is walking, but Hunterpants...not yet...he is almost 10 months. Both of my boys walked late...Ava's dad was 15 months and Hunters dad was 14 months. I was a super late walker because I was born breach with my legs crossed and the palms of my feet on my face. I had to wear those gawd awful braces from the hips and later the bar on my shoes. I was 17 months plus before I walked. YIKES

Jordyn will be 8 months on the forth.  I think she will be a true walker by the holidays.  She doesn't really like the crawling thing and really just wants to go straight to walking.  She is a gal on the move like her mother.

Hope everyone going to convention has a great time . . . I can sure understand the money obstical - which is why I'm not gong either.  Have fun, enjoy and let us know all about it!

For good news, my mom and sister fly in tomorrow .. .haven't seen her for 2 years, so this will be great - so I'm off wor****il Wednesday.  Then next Saturday I have an interview for a second job at Costco handing out "goodies" . . . anything to keep my head above water!

For bad news, my son still doesn't have a start date for his job in Monterey - they are still waiting for the position to open.  Then on Monday as he was leaving for work, he got a phone call that his contract expired, and he didn't have to come in.  Great (not).  And then Wednesday the other boot dropped - my DIL's cervical cancer has returned for the third time in 6 years . . . and she is being started on oral chemo today.  My daughter thought she could donate her hair to get a wig made (before it is even needed) .. . but was disappointed to find out it takes 4-5 weeks to make a wig . . . and they need about 6 ponytails to make one wig!  Wow . . . the things you find out.  I told my DIL I will provide a wig . . . but my daughter and her friend decided they are going to go donate hair anyway ... just because someone needs it somewhere.  I thought that was pretty cool.

OK . . .sorry for rambling . . . enjoy the day and weekend and have some FUN!

Chris, I am so sorry that you DIL's cancer is back. I hope that they are able to get rid of it soon and for good. She is in my thoughts and prayers.
