happy halloween janine and cali crew,
i love halloween i'm even dressing up to go with my daugther trick or treaking , it should be a blast... i got to go start my speggttii sauce when i'm done here i like to cook it in the crock pot, it turns out so yummy.. and i'm making a bat cat for the family.. i just love to be in the kitchen..
 ya janine i hope my sinuis probs don't last that long,, you know i'm still not losing alot of weight only a couple pounds go up and down ,, the only thing is i'm not drinking enough water and i think i drink to much coffee.. i'm just a bit frustrated because other people who had surgery around the time i did and they've lost hella wieght and i've only lost 30lbs in three months what's up with that.. oh well just alittle bit of ranting..
i just wanted to mention that i'm moving to modesto nexted month and i was wondering if there anyone out there that would like to hook up and chat or have coffee or let my know where the support group is at... i would really appricate it...
oh and i don't dump off of sugar so i really have to give away all the candy tonight and try not to eat it at all..

Hi Lisa! I also live in the Modesto area and have Dr. Coirin. I will be having WLS in 10 days...woo hoo! Well there is a support group the first Monday of the month at 6:00. It is located on the corner of Briggsmore and Mchenry in Mchenry village at the Sutter Health building. I have attended only once, but I really enjoyed it. Look foward to hearing from you and maybe meeting at the group one day.

Today is Depot Friday for we Poll Inspectors and I am excited!!! I'll leave work about 12:30 and drive to the Registrar of Voters office in San Bernardino to pick up my "depot bag" with the ballots and all the other stuff for Tuesday's election. Then over to the school in Highland to inventory the supplies there (voting booths, voting machines and more supplies) and my bag. meet my contact there and make sure all is set for Tuesday. Kinda cool to be involved in this election.

Sorry I won't be making the LA event but sure hope to see lot's of you at TOMS FARMS in two weeks!

Good morning NeeNee and Happy Halloween Friday!

I got good news Wed. from the Kidney doc. My kidneys are clean and all the "risk" tests came back really good. I am doing all the right things to try to prevent any more kidney stones.

Today I only work 1/2 day and get to spend the rest with my lil princess. It's going to be a busy afternoon / evening for sure. We will trick or treat at the outlets then we have a big dinner party with friends, then its Halloween Karaoke. WHEW. my poor DH has to get up at 3:30am for work tomorrow. He's going to be tired! Here's my lil Halloween Princess.

Woo Hoo - Its friday and time for the LA Event....although I love rain - I do not like driving in it and especially driving on the freeway (other drivers scare the beegeesus out of me)  but I will just take is easy and pay attention.

I can not wait to meet all my Cali Board friends...my only question is how will I know who anyone is - especially in costume tonight....oh well it will be fun all the same.  The camera is all charged up and rarin to go.

Yes Janine I am the shopping queen...but alot of times I return things too...I guess it is just the thrill of being able to buy things in normal sizes.....I should be saying "Hello, My name is Jean and I am a shopoholic"  lol....but it makes me happy...better than booze or drugs right?

Ok well time to go decide what I am packing....

I have never slept this much in my life!!! Yesterday was a pretty typical day at Starbucks.............CRAZY!! The scheduleing was off, and I was never given all the new access codes, so I had to call managers, etc at 4 am!!

By the time I got off work I was so frazzled. Then my friend met me and moved my couch for me...by the time I got home at 2:30 I was dead to the world! I slept for 2 hours, went to the store got some dinner, ate, then went right back to bed, and just woke up! Have to be at work at 9 this morning, then finishing packing for the move tomorrow. I'm almost done there, just have a few things to pack. I have the next 3 days off, they gave me Monday to recoup...thank God!!

Ok, here's how tired I was last night...........I bought a big old bag of Halloween candy to give out tonight, and I was too tired to open it up to sneak a few pieces for myself...........

Going back to work is tough!!! I was dog-tired and pretty much went from work to bed. Take it easy... as much as you can anyway.

Morning All!  Today is a 1/2 day at work for me and then off to pick up Mr. Jayden!!!!  Back down the hill (carefully) for tricky-treating!  Rain or shine...........the kid is set to go.  Good thing I have my blaze orange utility raingear.  Nothing gets wet under that stuff!  Then at 9 we head to the job site for treats from the guys!  Jayden is a construction dude this year complete with hard hat, carhartt pants, orange shirt, safety vest, hat light and tool bags.  Authentic stuff too just like dad wears.

I'm doing much better.  Was dragging butt seriously and after a good talk with my nutritionist we adjusted a few things and temporarily went to 6 small meals of 1 oz each vs 3 2oz meals.  Once my tummy gets used to and likes food, we'll go back to the 3 meals. 

Off to work, pay a few bills and get ready to play!  Wish I was going to LA this weekend but alas not.  Next weekend we're going to Bass Lake and Camp Wishon for a board meeting.
