Congratulations on your wedding! May you have many, many happy years together. I also voted NO on 8 and was very disappointed that so many people feel it's ok to discriminate in this day and age. Someday there will be equal rights for all!

Yeah, Prop 8 is unfair, unconstitutional and discriminatory. So, I am sure it will be appealed in the near future. Lets hope so anyway.

Actually, the SF City Atty had a suit filed at the open of business on Wed morning, so the wheels are already turning!

You know for as progressive as CA claims to be....I am surely disappointed with prop 8 being voted down. I mean who gives the government the right to say who can marry who when it is prefect legal for a dog to run for mayor? I sure hope that it goes through the legal system again and people realize that no matter what our preferences are...we are all people with rights. I keep hearing the words of MLK in my head...about there will be a day when a man is judged on the content of his characte and not the color of his skin and it should also have been said for their sexuality. AMEN!!!
