Those who are a few months out...was wondering what doesn't work for your pouch, stomach, or intestine.  Here are a few of mine:  cream soups...to much butter, all pork products...I can only handle a small amount of por**** cream or soft serve ice cream, pancakes...they expand in my pouch.  So what's on your no no list?

I am only 2 1/2 weeks out and so far absolutly NOTHING disagrees with me!!   I have taken "just a taste" of a few
select items..chicken, hamburger meat and with proper small tastes and chewing and small bites...it all agrees with me!!..lol  I've always said i have a cast iron stomach.  Even before WLS I could handle anyting I ate with no ill effects.
The only foods I KNOW I DO NOT like are Lamb and okra.
I even LOVE liver..lol
I imagine somewhere along this journey i will find something disagreeable..but so far..it all goes down and stays..lol!  I have not and will not try sugared foods...the reading I've done on that stuff scares me, besides, I was never a sweets eater....
I was always a meat and tater gal..lol

Liver!???Sorry, Had to say that off the top!! Well, I am 12 week s out and I sometimes have a real hard time with chicken.dark or light sometimes makes me gag. This is a new thing cause be fore WLS I ate chicken all the time!! My tastes have really started to change the last few weeks. Things I thought I could never live without, I can and do and don't care. I haven't tried any real sugary things and I haven't tried any rice, bread, pasta, or potatoes. Oh and no tortillas and I do miss those and pasta. The rest I will live without except for a little rice once in a while (what's maki without the rice?). I mainly eat eggs.cheese, fruit veggies, and lean ground meat or lean moist pork. My most favorite thing since WLS is Mashed Cauliflour I got a great recipe on the food network channel and I now have to have it once a week. It tastes better than any mashed potato I have ever had!
Good question!

Well for me it is tortillas (sad face!), broccoli, dry meat, anything with more than 15gms sugar and soft bread.  I am actually glad though, because the carbs have always been a trigger food for me so it is good that I can't have many of them.  I can do low carb pasta and brown rice in small amounts as well as whole grain crackers - so I am pretty happy with my variety there.

Anything leftover!  Doesn't matter if it's warmed in the microwave, on the stove or eaten cold.  I try it, my pouch objects and ejects.  Plain and simple - Oscar the grouchy pouchy is a persnicketey snob - no lefovers for him!   So far, that's it and I'm about 9 weeks out.  Oh, and all milk products makes Oscar growl like a mad dog!  No eject just growling and a bit nausiated.  So, no milk products.

I am over 2 years out and white rice, pancakes (they expand), and popcorn (got gas?) is bad for me.
Without struggle, there is no progress.

I am 9 weeks out. And I cant do regular eggs. I have no problem with egg substitute. I have had a few problems with pork, but its like one time I am fine, but the next time my little pouchy doesn't like it. I did a raw broccoli salad, and that didn't make pouchy happy. But I have no problem with cooked broccoli. Oh and fish....I cant do fi****hat's about it.

Great question, its nice to see what doesn't work for others!
