Good Monday Morning Cali
Yep - being without a car just sucks - even if you have nothing to do it is just that feeling that you are stranded. But yesterday was ok, my BFF from Torrance came over and we spent the day together which always makes me happy. We did end up going to the rubber stamp convention and I got some great ideas for xmas gifts....in fact today may just be a crafting day since I hae no idea when I get my car back. And no Janine - no MAC for me yesterday....lol
Jodi - girl - I feel so bad for you about your hands but do be careful of cortisone injections...they work but are only temporary and to many shots can cause permanent damage to the tendons...thats what my Dr told me when I was getting them in my wrist. I had the carpal tunnel surg on my left hand but never had the right hand done becuase of complications. And now since I don't work the right hand is not as bad but I still have the problems and it is getting progressivly worse as time goes on - just not as quick as it would have been had I continued working on a computer all day. Take care my friend and I hope you find some relief soon.
Lu - OMG I can not even believe the day you had....I am stressed just reading about it.....that had to be horrible. I am thinking of you and hoping you have some down time..Looking forward to meeting you on Sat
Linda - I am so sorry that your tummy is acting up again. I guess I was just blessed to have had such a smooth ride with my surgery. I am praying for you girl and looking forward to seeing you on Sat.
Ok well - the wind has died down today thank goodness. Now I just need to tend to some of my flowers that blew over yesterday and make sure they didn't get to damaged.
So time for coffee gang. Then I just get to sit around and wait for the car place to call - Gee Maybe I will venture over to the gym and check it out today - I have this great gym right here by my house and its free...yet I haven't even used it....oh well - I'm bad I know...but I do need to step up my exercise for sure so I can get the last poundage off and get stable then get ready for plastics next year.
Ok done rambling......have a great Monday everyone
Hugs to all.
PS - Lil MIchele - I got the bars in the mail - THANK YOU SO MUCH....you are a doll.
We look forward to seeing everyone on Satuday.

Just a quick note, as I gotta get the kids going....
I start school next month. Right before our cruise. Good thing is- it is a work at your own pace sorta thing, so I can get way ahead of the game to make up for the time we will be sailing.
Hope everyone has a great day!!
hugs!!

Good Morning All! I am here at my desk with a smile painted on - I want more sleep!
My trip down to Bass Lake for the board meeting was decent. Note to self: NEVER go on another road trip with my friend Candi! Candi, like sugar, needs to be in tiny doses! She is an awsome person, but she has an opinion about everything, knows everything and nobody can tell her a thing. And, she never shuts up! We got to Wishon about 10:30 Friday night. We didn't find the camp until Midnight. Why you ask??? I had written directions but she wasn't listening to me. Finally she called Onstar - which sent us down dirt roads and once into someone's back yard! I finally had to snap at her and told her to shut up and listen to me! We got there!
We took a day trip on Saturday after the meeting to Yosemite and it was totally so awsome! It was good because the waterfalls had water in them - they'd been dry for quite some time. A great bit WOW moment for me was that I was able to hike to the base of Bridal Veil falls and it was a piece of cake! I wasn't out of breath, and it felt good. Ok, so it was only a 1/2 mile hike but it was good.
We took off Sunday right after breakfast and went to tour the Jelly Belly factory in Fairfield! Yumm! I got some sugar free Jelly Belly's. Ended up home around 6pm and glad to be there. Sleeping in my own bed with my old man is awsome!
