Hi all!

I am hosting a small retreat for women who are one year, or more, out from surgery -- and I want to spread the word about it. Will also be doing some workshops while I'm there.

Thanks, Jean. I agree, it's a bit pricey. I wanted this to be a luxurious retreat (one where people feel really pampered). I am planning to do other retreats that are more moderately priced. I'll be announcing them soon in my e-newsletter.

Take care!

Katie

Having talked to people who attended Katie's retreat in NC, I think the retreat will be worth the price.  You are talking beautiful site on the ocean with multiple workshops/sessions with a small group and WLS friendly awesome food with the world's premier WLS chef who will also teach a class and be available for consultation....I think it will be a bargain.  6-7 of the women who attended in NC are spending for the airfare from back east and the seminar because they felt it was so worthwhile.
I think I am worth the money - I deserve the best because I am the best.  I love myself and cherish myself and know I am worth it!  Think about nights at the Ritz Carlton - way over $300./night, not including food or retreat!
Think about it again....YOU are worthy to be treated to luxury!

Wow, I'm an South O.C.  wife...worthy of love...but yikes! Can't afford love at that price. Think I'll stay home with my D.H (love is free in our home!).   Wishin' you well in these economic times!

Sure its alot, but isn't everything? When I think of the money I used to spend on killing myself with food, its a bargain! Making payments makes it more affordable too. From what I have witnessed in Katie's prolific writing I am sure she will create a worthwhile experience for all. I think it's a great way to start the new year focused on my health and getting the most out of the physical, emotional and financial investment I have already made (surgery). I am looking forward to it, hope you can join me!
